British actors. British accents. And yet they portray German soldiers. Do you think this is bad? Read below for the plot.
7 German soldiers trapped in a bunker somewhere between Belgian-German border in late 1944s and in there, they’re haunted by the “souls” of the German Army deserters they killed before.
Literally one of the worst movies I’ve ever watched and the worst movie about World War 2.
Do. Not. Watch. This.
Die Weiße Rose - At the doorsteps of our temple
Echo and Narcissus by John Williams Waterhouse (1903)
109.2 cm x 189.2 cm
In Greek mythology, the unhappy nymph Echo was condemned to repeat the last words spoken to her. She fell in love with the beautiful youth Narcissus. He rejected her and was punished by falling in love with his own reflection. He was trapped by the sight of his own beauty and died. Yellow narcissus flowers grew where he died and Waterhouse has included these in the painting.
Waterhouse was of a younger generation than Rossetti and Burne-Jones. His subjects of doomed and unhappy love were prettier, less disturbing and more widely popular than theirs.
In Slaughter Natives - Still Just Only Death
Live video but you should listen to the recorded version which is [couldn’t find a word to describe].
New lesson. Hopefully this one will go along with “Latin for Beginners” and other future-planned lessons! Anyway. You may ask, how can I be a Romantic (and almost original) and make my beloved happy on her birthday, our anniversery or on just a simple day. Look no more my noble friend.
Richard Wagner’s Siegfried-Idyll. A twenty minutes long, symphonic poem, one of Wagner’s non-operatic works. Wagner wrote this specifically for his lover Cosima Wagner (Franz Liszt’s daughter). You are lucky. You don’t have to write or compose anything. Everything’s ready for you to use. You just use your imagination and blend it with your passion then serve it. I am not going to say “Arrange a string quartet for the specific day’s morning and while she’s still sleeping, ask them to play Siegfried-Idyll. Your lover (if she’s not deaf) will wake up eventually and witness the most romantic thing ever.” See, I didn’t say anything.
If she doesn’t like what she hear ask the quartet to play Imperial March and choke her. Literally.
On a Junkers-52! Someday, maybe. Probably.

“Historic German Junkers Ju-52/3 plane offers nostalgic tourist flights in German cities”
In the 1930s the Junkers Ju-52/3 was the star of Lufthansa’s fleet then, even operating long-range service to Beijing. Now Lufthansa’s rebuilt Junkers offers flights to nostalgic aviation enthusiasts, and other passengers looking for a flight back into history. Tickets for the junkets on the 73-year old plane called “Auntie Ju” - which alternate between various German cities - are for sale on Lufthansa’s Junkers website. Fares range from 67-299 euros and flights run 10-110 minutes. Some of the Luftwaffe’s most daring World War II feats (the glider raid on the Belgian fortress of Eben Emael, the parachute assault on the Crete) were accomplished using Ju-52/3s.

… about the Pacific front of the World War 2. Both of them are great. But my personal favorite would be Letters From Iwo Jima because it is more drama oriented while Tora Tora Tora! is more action. Watch these two! I order you soldier!
